Privacy Policy
Nothing leaves this phone.
No account, no analytics, nothing about your dinner leaves this phone. Rounds aren’t stored.
What Short Straw collects
Nothing. Short Straw is made by Rainforest (“we”), and we don’t collect, receive or store any personal data from it. There is no account to create and no sign-in. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools, and we share nothing with third parties because we have nothing to share.
What stays on your phone
A few settings are saved on your device so the app remembers them between launches: haptics, sound, currency, list mode, the last mode you played, how the bill is split, and whether you’ve opened the app before. They never leave the device, and deleting the app deletes them.
Players, names you type into Closest Call, guesses and bill amounts exist only while a round is on screen. They are never written to storage.
The app reads your phone’s region and language settings to pick a sensible currency and language. That happens on the device.
App stores
You download Short Straw from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, each run under its owner’s own privacy policy. Apple and Google may give developers anonymous, aggregated statistics, such as download counts and crash rates, from people who have chosen to share them. None of it identifies you to us.
Children
Short Straw collects nothing from anyone, so it collects nothing from children.
